September 3, 2023 - First Day of School in the DR
We’ve been in the Dominican Republic for about 2 weeks now and it has been wild and busy getting adjusted.
But tomorrow is big!! Tomorrow is new. Tomorrow is exciting and scary for our kids as they start a new school year. In a new country
Our kids have their first day of school tomorrow. We are all feeling so many emotions but I know they are ready. We are ready. And God is in this!!
Please join us in praying tonight and tomorrow for Mason, Mills, and Maddon. And for our hearts as we drop them off @laspalmasspm
Pray for their hearts to be calm. Their minds to be open. Their strength and courage to outweigh the worry. Please pray that they will understand the language (because Dominican Spanish is very different) and that they will make wonderful friends.
And thank you for praying us through these first few weeks already
