Dear friends from LMBC,January 7, 2022

Thank you so much for the Christmas gift you sent us! What a tremendous blessing for us! Today is our 33rd wedding anniversary and we were able to use your very gracious gift to get away to a hotel that's close by to us called Pacific Gardens in Goroka. with the big wave of covid we had, this is the first time we have stayed away from home or gone to a restaurant in at least 6 months. So the break is much needed! Thank you!
Over Christmas and New Years, we had 6 church services. Phil preached at 3 of those. I taught the ladies and children. We had 6 salvation decisions and 1 re-dedication. Praise God!
We teach Religious Instruction classes at Seigu High School. One of our students, Matthew, asked us for help. He is a 10th grader. He asked if we would buy him a loud speaker and a microphone to help him with street preaching. We prayed about it and bought those for him. After we bought those for him he came to our home a week later to say thank you. He told us he would go where God led him. He was gone for about 1 month. he came to our home yesterday to report to us. He traveled to preach. After high school, he would like to be a student at GBBC, majoring in theology! Thank you for investing in us so we can invest in Matthew and many others. To God be the Glory!
