UPWARD
Connect with God.

Connect with other Christians through Christ-like relationships.

Reach students in our community with the good news of Jesus.
FORWARD
Never stop pressing toward the goal of becoming more like Jesus!

Refuel is the student ministry of LMBC for middle and high school students, designed to help them grow in a real and lasting relationship with Jesus. Each week, students gather to connect with friends, engage with caring leaders, and be grounded in the truth of God’s Word. Our heart is to partner with parents in making disciples who live and love like Jesus, both inside the church and in everyday life. At Refuel, students are filled with truth and sent out to live it: fuel for faith, power for life. Wednesday nights at Refuel include:
(6:45-7:05) Park Time
Students arrive at the Student Ministry Building, check in, and enjoy games, friends, and food on the 2nd Floor.
(7:05-7:25) TAG Time
Teens meet in small groups (divided by age and gender) led by multiple caring adult leaders. In TAG, students discuss the Bible, get organized for missions and outreach, and can be known, encouraged, and invited to become disciples of Jesus.
(7:25-7:40) Worship Time
Students transition to the 3rd floor auditorium to worship God through prayer and music led by the Refuel band.
(7:40-8:10) Teaching Time
Students hear truths from God’s Word and learn how to apply them to their lives.
(8:10-8:15) Commissioning Time
Leaders pray over students as they are commissioned to reach their friends and family with the message of Jesus.
