January 2022
My Dear praying Friends,
We have been recently overwhelmed by your concern and inquiries about our safety and wellbeing as well as the overall situation in our country with the imminent Russian military threat. Thank you so much for reaching out to us and expressing your support -- it means a lot in these dire times. Allow me to briefly let you know how things are here without going into much detail that you may already hear on the news. At this point the possibility of a full blown war is the highest it has ever been in the past seven years: citywide sirens testing happens every week, bomb shelters are being prepared, civilian resistance groups formed (and military teaching courses provided), other defense measures are intensified countrywide. Countries like USA, Great Britain, Baltic countries and others flying in different armament non-stop. Russian embassies in Ukraine are closed and diplomats with families are ordered to leave. Same is with the American, German and some other embassies and consulates in Ukraine. Everything is pointing to the soon invasion. However, you've got to remember two things: 1) never trust a Russian and 2) never trust a Russian. Their society, politics and national ideas are built on lies. We believe Russia is playing a big act to pressure the West into submitting to their demands, such as the gas pipeline 'North Stream 2' and a halt to a NATO expansions into Ukraine. They still may invade Ukraine though but we deem the chances of that as 50/50. Besides, every third Ukrainian is willing to take up arms and stand at the defense of our country -- and that is a great big number of angry people. I wish I could say that "all is quiet on the eastern front", but I can definitely say that "the rumors of our demise are greatly exaggerated." our family is staying put, abiding by the stuff, praying and watching. We are not fleeing, relocating or retreating. in fact, we keep calm and carry on.
The month of January was very snowy and cold, the Covid (with all its various stems) is raging rampant (at least two-three people we know come down with it weekly), we do not hold any special events or outreaches at this time. MB, as always, keeps the doors open having just recently celebrated Christmas and other January events.
The next military outreach is scheduled for the month of February when we will have six Americans and seven Ukrainians travel to the front lines to preach to our soldiers.
At that time in February at MBC, we will have an ordination service where my son N. will be ordained to the Gospel ministry (with Dr. Henry B. and Pastor Peter F. giving a charge. He has been recently accepted a s a missionary with JEM as an ambassador to the country of Armenia and upon his graduation from a Bible Seminary in May plans to come to the US for six months on his deputation to raise support to minister there full time. Please, pray for this young man who loves the Lord and makes Acts 20:24 his life and ministry verse -- I am confident in the Lord, we will see Him do great things through this devoted life of his child!
Meanwhile our third child S. has been accepted as a student at WCBC and upon receiving her student visa this March has plans to travel to the US to study and work on campus there. We are excited to see our children excel for the Lord and praise God for a family dedicated to His service wherever He may have us. He watches over us and meets our every need -- we are all doing great and upbeat despite what may be the worst time in our country's modern history. We sincerely thank you for thinking of us at this time, praying for our safety and continuing standing with us in this ministry financially regardless of the hard-economic times in your own country. The return of our Lord Jesus is very near and may we all be found occupying about His business until He comes. Amen and amen!

Christmas 2021
My Dear Praying Friends,
On the behalf of our Family allow me to greet you with the Holiday Season and wish you God's richest blessings, a close walk with Him, a perfect knowledge of His will, a desire to fulfill it and strive to live for Him as He is the only One worthy! let your new Year be filled with joy, laughter, and all seriousness about the high calling in Christ Jesus (Phil. 3:14) for we are His workmanship, created in Christ unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (Eph. 2:10)
Both years, 2020 and 2021, proved to be rather strange in many ways and "rather strange" has become a new norm but that is to be expected as the time draws nigh to our Lord's coming. Having lived through these two past years prepared us for many twists and turns in our lives and ministries like nothing ever before. So, the anticipation of the year 2022 isn't a good one other than it may be the year when Christ comes to rapture us home. Meanwhile, our currency is devaluating fast, the countrywide economic situation is very poor, "red zone" lockdowns are here to stay, Russian military invasion seems eminent with their massive build-up at our borders now and the overall mood of the people is predominantly negative and apathetic. That is what we deal with every day in our ministry, but it's not the end of the world, not yet, meaning there are people, both Jews and gentiles, who are ready to be saved. And so, we are out reaching them with the Gospel - November was a rather warm autumn month allowing us to give out thousands of gospel tracts in the streets witnessing to people, going to the Jewish owned cafes and places in Jewish neighborhoods to interact with the Jews, inviting Jewish family friends to our home and going to theirs for friendly visits - some of the things we did in the past two months.
Also, the latest military outreach has probably been one of the most attended and fruitful of them all as a group of 11 traveled for several days in the military zone visiting seven places preaching to the groups of 28-52 soldiers giving an invitation at the end of each sermon having 2-7 hands raised indicating a sinner's prayer prayed at each place totaling 198 soldiers in the combined attendance and 21 decisions for Christ, praise the Lord! i was privileged to preach at every place and give an invitation at the end and was humbled to see dozens of hands go up. Amen! We are already planning a trip in February with my friend and director Dr. Henry Benach participating as well as the pastor of Cleveland Baptist church (Cleveland, OH) Peter Folger.
ministry events are planned for April of 2022 with Dr. Benach and his wife Victoria and for May of 2022 with Dr. Cook and his wife Paula. menorah Baptist church is growing as we are seeing the increase in weekly attendance. International ministry travel for us in 2022 is not currently in the picture but we are planning many Jewish oriented events countrywide here in the upcoming year. As I mentioned earlier, it is not the end of the world yet and so we are going to occupy until He comes with 2022 not being an exception.
Once again all of us want to greet all of you with Christmas and wish you a Happy New Year! We are indebted to your for your faithful stand with us, your ongoing prayer and financial support of our work. (Special thanks for the many beautiful Christmas cards and letters - they make us miss America, and for special Christmas money gifts).
Remember us please to your families and congregations during this Holiday Season.

April 2021
My Dear Praying Friends,
While in your country you hear the rumors of war, in our country we have a nation rise against nation - Russia waging a war against Ukraine and while the hybrid war here has been going on for the past seven years recently it has been intensified with a massive Russian army build up along our borders and a treat of a full-blown invasion is very eminent. NATO claims its support for Ukraine's, USA, Great Britain and Turkey come to our side but it seems like Ukraine continues to stand alone in our efforts to fight off the northern bear that is Russia. All our active military is on high alert, reserved forces (which my oldest son and I are a part of) are notified and currently on standby, yet again we have emergency suitcases packed and ready. After all, geographically we live in the land of Magog, so it ought to have some bearing on what's going on here, historically and prophetically. So please, pray for our country and for the safety of our family.
To add to the military tensions, Ukraine now has a much-increased level of Covid cases so most of Ukraine's regions (states are in a red zone and many cities are in a lockdown). Our state and city are in the orange zone and no lockdown yet but it's looking like we are headed that way. So far, the government came out with the nationwide strict restrictions for the Easter celebrations (on May 2nd) and over all large gatherings and any work involving people is restricted. It's frustrating and very limiting to what we can do in the ministry but like we determined from the on-start of this year - we are not going to sit around and wait for improvements like we did back in 2020 and are going through with all the planned events at full speed. In just a week and a half we will have Dr. C (JWMM) with us for three weeks (April 29-May 17_ assisting in the ministry and holding many different evangelization events, and we have just had our friend and director Dr. B and his wife with us for three weeks.
Usually, the spring time is the busiest time of the ministry year for us (since it has many Jewish and Christian holidays) and so far, this year we were able to keep the busy schedule of events we planned despite everything going on around us. While Dr. B and his wife were here we ministered in three cities, spoke in 12 churches, held a special "Prophecy and Israel" Conference (with a record attendance of 212 people), conducted Seder Meal Presentation and "Honor Israel" Banquet, ladies conference, "You Are Called", (V. and O. are much pleased with the results there). A total of 856 people had attended these meetings and eight of them raised their hands indicating they prayed a sinner's prayer asking for God's forgiveness (with one of the saved from the street). We could not rent bigger facilities/restaurants for these events due to Covid restrictions in place but did our best to reach out to as many as we possibiity could an we praise the lord for blessing our endeavors and thank Dr. B. for dedicating his time and efforts to assist us in all the above mentioned. Thank you for all your prayers during this time as we are happy to report an unhindered success! Amen'! please, pray for the upcoming next three weeks with Dr. C. and another push to end our busy spring ministry season on a high note!
The K-Family is doing fine: O. and N. continue with their Bible Seminary studies online thus eliminating the need to travel to and from Kiev (which is currently in a lockdown), E. also studies online (at least it seems like he does), D. is finishing (also online)her fifth University year (working on her diploma now) and will be graduating this year. It also is S's. last year in high school and she is busy with tutors preparing for this final graduation test. They are all a big help in the ministry and everyone is healthy and doing great, yours truly included, praise the Lord!
Thank you so very much for your increased prayers for our family and ministry during these especially difficult times. Many of you reached out to us and expressed your love and concern -
it means a world to us knowing we have such loyal friends and faithful supporters in you please know although we may not be able to say a personal "thank you" to everyone we are grateful to our Lord for giving us all of you and are so thankful to yu for your love and friendship. We do pray for you and ask the lord to bless your lives and ministries!
