Due to inclement weather, the 9 a.m. service for Sunday, Jan. 20 has been cancelled. We will have one morning service at 10:45 a.m. as road conditions improve.

Update from the Humphrey Family (New Zealand)

According to last night's news report, Winter 2020 has been the mildest in New Zealand since records have been kept.  We have enjoyed more sunny days and fewer rainy days in Auckland this Winter.  We praise the Lord for it!  Better winter weather has definitely helped us emotionally during this pandemic.

Our Wednesday Bible study group was READY once again meet in person as Auckland went down to a Level 2.5 lockdown last week.  Ten or fewer can meet at this lockdown level.  Rachel, Ling, and Steven were so happy and ready to resume our Bible study.  Please pray for Loretta as she was sick and couldn't join us.  All of our other Bible studies have been able to continue to meet online during these various lockdowns.  Our Wednesday Bible study couldn't meet due to children at home.

We praise the Lord for allowing Mike to receive his container of goods from China just before Auckland's 2nd lockdown.  The container was scheduled to arrive a day later, on a very rainy day and at the start of the new lockdown.  Once again God revealed Himself to Mike for which he praises the Lord!  He was able to visit some of his customers and take orders from them.
John's Thursday Bible study is a blessing and encouragement to him as well as to them.  They are faithful to study online and have a great desire to learn and walk more closely with the Lord.

Please pray for Michael and Ning.  They manage a big apartment complex in the Gold Coast, Australia.  They have had a challenging year as owner-operators of the business.  God is teaching them many life lessons through their business and they are depending upon the Lord in a greater way.  Please pray that the Lord would bless their efforts.  They are so faithful to join our online Bible study each week.

Frank and Christian are doing very well in Wellington, NZ.  They have made good progress towards obtaining a resident visa during the past 5 years in New Zealand; from nearly having to return to China to the Lord providing a great job for Frank.  Everything seems to be working out well for them for which they praise the Lord.  God is so good!  They also join our Saturday Bible study each week.

John will be preaching via Zoom this Sunday at a Chinese Church.  He would appreciate your prayers.

John and I are doing well.  The Lord is blessing His work here.  We feel that the current ministry is as productive it has ever been since our arrival almost 22 years ago.  We praise the Lord for His work!

We continue to pray for you all in the U.S.; that God will continue to bless you and keep you safe.  We are thankful to all who pray for and financially support us so that we can effectively serve the Lord here in Auckland, New Zealand.  We are humbled and thankful for you!

Waiting and watching for the Lord's soon return,
John & Mihyon Humphrey                                                                                                                                 wvhumphrey@gmail.com
